Yeah, I can definitely see that happening! I'm glad my grandparents ordered my Emily early. Last year they got Marisol really early which was probably a good idea as she ended up selling out!!

I can imagine that. It was that way with Elizabeth, well where I live it was. My mom can't decide whether I can get Emily or not yet! I hope she says yes. She thinks I'm getting too old.

It's that way every year. If you want anything to do with Molly - get it before the movie.

Even before the movies, whatever was new, the closer you got to Christmas (like after Thanksgiving) the less likely you were to get Christmas items.

The year of the Millennium Outfit - it was sold out in October and on eBay for over $250.

I tell my husband every year to get anything he's going to that's AG long before Thanksgiving.

Good advice, craftycarol! I will definitely keep that in mind. I wasn't doing much AG site buying a year ago so it's good to know to do it early. Actually I did get a Christmas present a month or more ago for my 16 yo DD--I was afraid Kit's Red's outfit wasn't coming back because I didn't see it in the catalog so I acted on that. Now I see it in the wish book but I'm still glad I got it early.

Wow, I know everyone was millenium crazy back then but $250! Now you can get that outfit for way less, guess no one wanted to wait!
